US Postal Service Makes Announcement on Mail-In Ballots Ahead of Midterm Elections

Here we go again.  In an effort to lull the electorate into a false sense of security, the US Postal Service recently created  special "election mail strike teams" to assist during the midterm elections.  We are not buying it.  In fact, the Election Integrity Action Team will be contacting local postmasters to better understand the process of how undeliverable mail-in ballots are handled.  If you are interested in learning more, join us for the Election Integrity Action Team meeting held immediately after the State Senate Candidate Forum.

It should be noted that one of the major provisions of the recently past SB524 requires the Department of State to make specified reports regarding investigations of election law violations and to submit a plan to use identifying numbers to confirm the identity of each elector returning a vote-by-mail ballot.  We are hopeful that Secretary Byrd is diligently pursuing this requirement.

A Letter of Encouragement from the Center for Renewing America

"Friends,

The news can get discouraging. Between the behemoth bills to the vulgar violations to our liberties, it can be tempting to give up.

I just received an email from the founder of CRA, and I hope you'll be as encouraged as I was while reading it.

In Liberty,
Michelle
