Special Summer Break Edition Issue #8
Our Summer Break extends through September 13. Meetings will resume on September 20 with a special Poll Watcher Training Session presented by the Republican Party Of Florida (RPOF).

"NOW, THEREFORE, I, DONALD J. TRUMP, President of the United States of America, do hereby proclaim September 11, 2020, as Patriot Day." Never forget.
While there will be no General Meetings, Action Teams may conduct separate meetings during the break. Be sure to check with your Action Team leader for details!
And mark you calendars! Our first meeting after the Summer Break will have Tim Abakhin, Regional Election Integrity Director for the Republican Party of Florida (RPOF), conducting a special Poll Watcher training session exclusively for Manatee Patriots. This training is a requirement to become a credentialed Poll Watcher for the Republican Party during the General Election. You won't want to miss Tim's essential training on Tuesday, September 20.

Reminder: Amanda Ballard Meet and Greet September 21
On November 8, voters in Manatee County have a unique opportunity to create a Board of County Commissioners which is made up entirely of Conservative Republicans. But to do so it is crucial that we provide our District 2 candidate - Amanda Ballard - with as much support as we can. So we are asking all Manatee Patriot subscribers to consider attending a Meet and Greet for Amanda on September 21. If you'd like to attend, please RSVP by clicking on the button below the following invitation.

Sign Up For the Manatee County Public Library System Series of Town Hall Meetings.
The Manatee County Schools Action Team wants to alert you to a series of Town Halls being hosted by the Manatee County Public Library System. The purported purpose of these meetings is "...to gather information from the community as we prepare for strategic planning". Action Team Leader Deanna Brinckley writes: "We don’t know what this strategic planning is… [so] WE NEED to be a part of this planning whatever it is." Deanna urges everyone to attend as many of these Town Halls as possible. They start this Tuesday September 13 at the Palmetto Branch Library Auditorium at 6:30pm. The good news is that it does not conflict with a Manatee Patriots meeting as we are on Summer Break. However, the bad news is that there is not a lot of time left to register. So click on the button below to register for these meetings today! | |

Our Own Dr. Stephen and Maureen Guffanti Recognized by Governor Ron DeSantis
Wow! Our own Dr. Stephen Guffanti and Maureen Guffanti were recently awarded recognition by the Governor's Faith and Community Initiative Office. This office was set up in 2019 by Governor DeSantis to thank faith and community organizations for their work and to improve the communications between these organizations and the Governor's office. We have provided the full letter for you below:
This extraordinary recognition combined with the recent marriage of their daughter Stephanie to Mr. Jahan Gilmore should really have them both smiling! Congratulations on both events to Stephen and Maureen.
