"Sustainable Development": A Grave Threat to Manatee County
Scary. That best describes Michael Sabga's presentation at our meeting last Tuesday evening. The standing-room-only audience was in utter awe as Michael - the Field Director of the John Birch Society in Florida - delivered a powerful message on the UN's "Agenda 2030" and how it can play out here in Manatee County. Perhaps most disturbing was the discussion around a worldwide Food Crisis anticipated during 2023. Evidence for this scheme is all around us including inflated prices for basic food items, loss of farmland to rampant development and excessive regulation on our farmers.
This presentation should act as a wake up call to motivate all members of the Manatee County Board of County Commissioners to take immediate action to rescind our membership in ICLEI, explore ways to preserve our farmland, and assist our farmers in order to secure the food supply for Manatee County.

At our next meeting, Jack May will share the 2023 Roadmap for Civic Engagement for Manatee Patriots. The Great Manatee Patriots Food Crisis of 2023
We hate to admit it, but it appears that we have become victims of our own success. Our past few meetings have had a wealth of attendees. But the potluck donations have been on the meager side. So we are reminding all attendees to please bring something for the snack bar to share with your fellow patriots. It doesn't have to be an elaborate dish, and it doesn't have to be homemade. Even a simple dessert will do. So please remember that your fellow patriots do not live on great presentations alone!
And Don't Forget The Soda!

Join the "Victims of Communism Day" Event Committee
Last year, Gov. Ron DeSantis signed HB 395 which established a yearly day during which students in Florida’s schools will learn about the atrocities committed by Communist regimes and the more than 100 million people who were persecuted and lost their lives in Communist countries.
Known as "Victims of Communism Day" it provides an opportunity for students of all ages and Floridians of all backgrounds to learn about the dangers posed by socialism around the world and here at home, as well to reflect upon the blessings of liberty afforded to ourselves and our posterity as a result of the American traditions of limited government and individual freedom.
This bill also instructs that beginning in the 2023-2024 School Year, high school students enrolled in United States Government class must receive 45 minutes of instruction during "Victims of Communism Day" on Mao Zedong, Jospeh Stalin, Vladimir Lenin and other villains of history.
